The team

• The Sparta marketing team consists of capable and experienced individuals responsible for all issues relating to sales and customer satisfaction.
• We believe in building mutually loyal and beneficial relationships with our clients. We strive to give good service, timely delivery and quality products to our clients.
• The team is integrated and individuals freely share expertise amongst each other. Each client has access to their primary contact person as well as other members of the marketing team.
• We offer our clients many value-added services through access to our deboning hall staff who are particularly skilled and pioneering where product innovation is concerned.
• The marketing team has access to the internet, e-mail and fax services. They are available on their mobile phones 24 hours a day. Regular client visits are part and parcel of the way we do business.

Sparta Foods Gauteng

• In addition to its wholesaler abattoir clients, Sparta has a retail outlet in Benoni in Gauteng.
• 15 to 20% of the group’s beef production is distributed from here to smaller butchers and supermarket chains in the Gauteng area.

Products

• Sparta supplies meat to wholesale meat suppliers, retail customers, restaurants, deli’s and also directly to the consumer.
• We produce more than 50 different meat products, including vacuumed bone-in and boneless products. We continually strive towards developing new products, sometimes in conjunction with our clients.
• We make regular trips to Ireland, the UK, Australia and the USA to keep up with new market trends in the meat industry.
• We export meat to a number of countries in the Middle East and this business is growing monthly.
• We make beef cubes and mince for various pie companies.
