Market knowledge – to know what my customers need before they know what they want.

Most memorable day at work?

A couple of years ago when I had to help out the Sparta marketing team at the Toyota Stadium when the Cheetahs played in the Super Rugby final – and in the process was acknowledged as a #bigcheethasupporter.

What is your Sparta beef cooking tip?

When braaiing your favourite Sparta steak, rub it with a dash of olive oil and cover with coarse black pepper and let it rest for at least 30 minutes before putting it on hot coals. Turn your steak only twice before serving.

What is your favourite Sparta product? 

Definitely the Sparta Picanha steak cut against the grain, which makes it even more tender.
