The mince is vacuum-packed for longer shelf life. It is essentially the same as a vacuum-packed steak. The mince loses colour in the vacuum but blooms to bright pink once opened. A round label on the front of the pack indicates that the product blooms to bright pink once opened. The mince freezes well and packs neatly into your freezer, taking up less space.
