The lean mince is vacuum-packed for longer shelf life. It is essentially the same as a vacuum-packed steak. The mince loses colour in the vacuum but blooms to bright pink once opened. Round labels on the front of the pack indicate that the product blooms to bright pink once opened and that the mince is lean. The mince freezes well and packs neatly into your freezer, taking up less space. Can be used like any mince in bolognaise, lasagne, bobotie, etc. Meat block is 90VL*.
