Sparta Angus Steak Sandwich

Ingredients

  • Sparta Angus rumptail
  • Olive Oil
  • Salt and pepper
  • Ciabatta
  • Butter
  • Onion marmalade
  • Rocket
  • Mayonnaise
  • Dijon mustard
  • White cheddar
  • Gherkins

    Preparation

    1. Braai the whole Sparta Angus rumptail
    2. Cut the ciabatta into slices
    3. Butter the one side
    4. Toast the ciabatta on a hot griddle pan
    5. Add Mayonnaise onto one side of slice
    6. Add Dijon mustard onto the slice
    7. Add a generous amount of rocket
    8. Pack sliced gherkins
    9. Slice Sparta Angus rumptail and add matured white cheddar
    10. Dollop of onion marmalade
    11. Slice the sandwich and serve
