Sparta Beef Fillet Fettuccine

Ingredients

  • 1 packet Fettuccine/ Penne / Tagliatelle
  • 500g Sparta fillet strips
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Kosher salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 tbsp freshly chopped parsley
  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan
  • 1 ½ cup halved cherry tomatoes
  • 4 cups baby spinach

    Preparation

    1. In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook pasta until al dente. Drain and set aside
    2. Coat steak with olive oil, coarse salt and pepper
    3. Slice fillet into strips and cook steak
    4. Remove strips and place on a separate plate
    5. Make alfredo sauce in the same skillet
    6. Add butter to skillet and allow to melt
    7. Add flour, whisk in the milk and add garlic
    8. Add Parmesan and stir until desired thickness
    9. Add cooked pasta to sauce and toss until coated
    10. Top with sliced Sparta steak
    11. Add cherry tomatoes
    12. Add spinach and toss until wilted
